Parenting the Anxious Child

Parenting a child who is anxious can make parents, well, anxious. Yet anxiety in children is surprisingly common. This six week course is for parents who want to learn how to be the best resource for their child and to support improved regulation of anxious feelings in their child.  Parents will have the opportunity to explore ways of being a strong and secure presence for their child and to learn how anxiety can change how family members react to each other.

We believe that parents are the best resource children have and we support parents to research and explore ways of interacting within the family that promote growth and resilience. In a family system small changes can have a large impact .

From little things, big things grow.
